A few more snippets just to convince you that there's something moving along:

I've had Brad's statements and so this weekend I have completed and sent off the application for our account, having cashed all your cheques. As I paid for the proshare manual myself, perhaps if you could all see your way to giving me £4-66 each I'd appreciate it. I know it's next to nothing on its own but x5 it's 20 odd quid.

However, as I'm in no rush for this, perhaps you could all add it on to any top up payments we make and I'll take it off there or buy me a couple of beers next time. I can't be arsed cashing a cheque for less than a fiver, besides which it would take Pascoe until xmas to write it! Just joking Marc.

I'll register the club with Proshare when we get our account, this will entitle us to some free stuff like newsletters and a Reference CDRom of companies. Whether or not they'll be willing to include you in that Yvette I don't know. Don't see why not as a first class stamp would cover it. All we need now is to set up the standing orders and then we'll be away. Perhaps we could split up monitoring different www sites / newspapers etc between us to gather a decent amount of info on anything we are considering? This would also get everyone involved and making contributions. Something else I thought of was keeping a little aside for any quick investments we may want to make, just a suggestion.

Well that's it for now, hopefully I will soon be writing with details on our account. Take care. James
